Funeral Preparation
In order to serve you better, the Parish has made this page and has elaborated items you might want to consider in planning the funeral of your loved one.
The following are questions you should keep in mind.

Will you and your family have need of an easel for an image of your loved one?

Is anyone from the family emotionally ok to do any of the readings during Mass?

Would you and your family like to have music during the Mass?

The parish offers a hall for a small reception, will you and your family like to use it?
As you navigate this page, you will be able to have many of your questions answered. We ask that you please fill out the Liturgy planning form to ensure that the Mass goes as planned. If you and your family decide to use one of the Parish facilities then we also ask that you fill out the Facility Request Form.

COVID - 19
Due to the current situation, there have been some changes due to county health regulations and Archdiocesan liturgical norms.

All Liturgies will be celebrated outside in the Parish school parking lot.

We ask for you to help us keep social distancing. Every other bench has a colored paper.

The benches that have blue paper, indicates someone can sit on the edge of the bench.
-
The benches the paper is pink indicates someone can sit in the middle of the bench.

Families living in the same house can sit together.

Music
For a minimal stipend, the Parish staff can provide a singer and pianist for Mass. There is a $50 bench fee if you decide to bring your own musicians (this also applies if you bring a mariachi). Out of parish musicians are to bring their own microphones and cables.
Below are options for Entrance, Offertory, Communion, and Recessional hymns. The ordinary of the Mass and Psalm is pre-selected based on Liturgical season and norms. There is an extra stipend to learn a hymn that is not listen in the list below. Any hymn that is requested must be liturgically approved by the USCCB.
The English Mass setting that is sung is Mass of Restoration. This includes the Gospel Acclamation, Holy, When We Eat This Bread, Amen, Lamb of God.

Facilities
DUE TO COUNTY AND ARCHDIOCESE NORMS, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO USE THE HALLS AT THIS TIME.
As an act of support to you and your family, the Parish provides a facility for a reception to take place before or after the Funeral Mass.
There three halls available during the weekday. Guadalupe Hall (A2), St. Joseph Hall (A3), and Madonna Plaza (B). When it is necessary, St. John Hall (B4) and Immaculate Conception Hall (B5) are also available.
The Parish has activities during the day and it might be that the hall you are requesting might be occupied. Nonetheless, the Parish staff will accommodate you and your family in one of our Parish Halls.
There is no cost to use one of the Parish facilities. It is common that families donate $200 to cover the hall expenses.
Guadalupe Hall (A2)

Located in the Parish Center (in front of the Church Building)

Holds approximately 250 guests with tables and chairs

16 rectangular tables and 10 round tables.

Restrooms inside the hall

Projector and Wireless microphones available. Projector has HDMI, VGA, Aux inputs. Family is required to bring their laptop and cables.

Heating area for food included with warmers, fridge, sink, counter space, ice maker and microwave.

St. Joseph Hall (A3)

Located in the Parish Center (in front of the Church Building)

Holds approximately 80 guests with tables and chairs once tables and chairs are all placed.

16 rectangular tables and 10 round tables.

Restrooms are around the corner in front of the Parish front desk (15 steps away from Hall).

Projector and Wireless microphones available. Projector has HDMI, VGA, Aux inputs. Family is required to bring their laptop and cables.

Madonna Plaza (B)

Located on the west side of the Church, next to the gas stations.

Outdoor location that can fit approximately 200 guests.

16 rectangular tables.

Restrooms are available in the hallway inside the Plaza.

Each room inside the Madonna Plaza (St. John and Immaculate Conception Hall) comes with a projector. Projector has a VGA input. Family is required to bring their laptop and cables.

There is a serving area outside with a sink and refrigerator.
