Funeral Preparation
Thank you for allowing our community to be here for you and your loved ones during this time. You can call the parish secretary if you would like to make an appointment with a priest. Per County and Archdiocesan guidelines and everyone's safety, the following norms have been established in our Parish.
-
If anyone in your family has COVID-19, has had contact with someone with COVID-19, or has symptoms, we ask that they stay home.
-
Everyone should have a mask on at all times.
-
There will be hand sanitizer inside the Church. We ask that you use it as soon as you enter the Church. We also ask that you try to minimize the places you touch inside the Church.
-
Funeral Masses may be celebrated inside the Church if you think fewer than 75 people will attend Mass. Masses with more than 75 people will be celebrated outside in the open air.
-
Eulogies are not recited during Mass. But we understand these strange circumstances we live in; therefore, the Parish can make an exception. We ask that you have the eulogy written on a single page, and it can be no longer than 2 minutes.
-
Unfortunately, the Parish is unable to provide the technology to live-stream the Mass. If you have a family member who wants to live-stream the Mass, please indicate this on the Mass form found at the end of this page. We ask that you please follow the following Parish guidelines.
-
Be stationary in the camera designated area, do not move during Mass.
-
Do not use lights or flash.
-
Respect the instructions of the Sacristan of the Mass.
-
There are readings and song selections at the bottom of this page. We ask that you please fill out the form.
If you have any questions, email us at or call the parish secretary: 310-679-1139.

Music
For a minimal stipend, the Parish staff can provide a singer and pianist for Mass. There is a $50 bench fee if you decide to bring your own musicians (this also applies if you bring a mariachi). Out of parish musicians are to bring their own microphones and cables.
Below are options for Entrance, Offertory, Communion, and Recessional hymns. The ordinary of the Mass and Psalm is pre-selected based on Liturgical season and norms. There is an extra stipend to learn a hymn that is not listen in the list below. Any hymn that is requested must be liturgically approved by the USCCB.
The English Mass setting that is sung is Mass of Restoration. This includes the Gospel Acclamation, Holy, When We Eat This Bread, Amen, Lamb of God.
